Applications of Robotics in Everyday Life

Robotics is a field that deals with creating humanoid machines that can behave like humans and perform some actions like human beings. AI allows robots to act intelligently in certain situations.

The robotic arm can determine what material an object is made of and then calculate the force required to manipulate. For example, the robot can pick up laundry, load the dishwasher, carry heavy objects, and reach higher objects.

The robotic kitchen is already functional. In the robotic kitchen, everything is adapted for optimal robotics work based on proven industrial manipulators. The robot can break eggs, use a blender or turn on the water tap. The entire cooking is fully automated. The robot was trained with the help of a camera recording of the cooking process and its verbal description.

Several applications of robotics already surround us. However, we usually turn a blind eye to them. Given below are some of the major examples of robots in our day-to-day lives:

1. Entertainment

A captivating application of robotics lies in the entertainment sector. Toys powered by robotics are appalling and exciting for young people. They offer many features that can help youngsters to learn and enjoy at the same time. Such toys raise curiosity and build interest in the tech sector.

2. Households

Robots are now being deployed for personal uses to reduce human efforts. With the growing technological advancements, we have been provided with many fully automated and easy-to-use devices. You can use these robots to help with household chores. Although many machines powered by robotics haven’t been invented yet, they are expected to be available soon. Some of the examples of robots that help in household activities are:

  • Home robots can look after pet animals even if you aren’t present at home.
  • Robots can help with laundry and cleaning kitchens and even toilets.
  • Home robots can monitor your household activities every day, and some can even make things ready for you. For example, a few robots can help you prepare meals.
  • Some robots assemble things in the…
