Quantum computing in the healthcare sector might allow for a variety of innovative applications for doctors and health insurers, such as speeding diagnosis, individualizing treatment, and optimizing pricing. The sector can certainly look to benefit from quantum-enhanced machine learning algorithms. Moreover, the possibility to integrate quantum computing with classical modeling to rescue lives and minimize costs increases as access to health-relevant sources of data grows. Thus, quantum computing is expected to have a substantial impact on healthcare.
